Bulldogs Qualify to State Duals!
The Tinley Park Bulldog Varsity team qualified for the IKWF State Duals for the first time since 2005 with a 52-33 win over the Little Celtics to claim 3rd place Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs opened the competition with a win over the Little Celtics 50-33. The next round the Bulldogs lost to last year’s state runner-up Force. In the consolation rounds, the Bulldogs destroyed the Jr. Spartans 66-28. Then in the qualifying match, the Bulldogs defeated the Little Celtics one more time to earn a spot in this weekend’s State Dual Team Tournament in Willowbrook. Great performances were turned in by all and many thanks to the great support from our parents and families. We definitely were the loudest group out there in Plainfield. Congratulations to the entire team on this achievement and good luck this weekend.
Oak Lawn Tournament
Another dominant performance was turned in with our 51 wrestlers taking medals home. 18 first places, 12 second places, 10 third places and 8 fourth places were turned in by our young Bulldogs. We are receiving many compliments from our competition on how aggressive and how hard we wrestle. Congrats to all of our young Bulldogs!
